Thanks to the generous support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, the Estonian Refugee Council has launched a new round of cash assistance for heating to help residents of frontline regions facing difficult living conditions.

Registrations have already taken place in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts. Each eligible family will receive a one-time payment of 19,400 UAH to purchase solid fuel for the winter season.

In addition, together with our trusted local partners – the Charitable Foundation “Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv” and the Charitable Foundation “Shchedryk” – families in hard-to-reach communities will receive in-kind assistance equivalent to 7.51 stock meters (5.26 cubic meters) of firewood per household.

This support will help the most vulnerable – including older people, persons with disabilities or limited mobility, and large families – stay warm and safe throughout the cold months.

Together, we are helping communities keep the heat on this winter.
